The daughter of Boyzone star Ronan Keating has said she avoids reading stories about her famous parents.
Ronan and his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly hit headlines in 2010 after it was revealed Ronan had an affair with a backing dancer during his marriage.
The pair initially separated in 2010 after 12 years of marriage. They attempted to reconcile but permanently confirmed their separation in April 2012. Their divorce was subsequently finalised in March 2015.

Ali – the youngest daughter of the Ronan and Yvonne – said growing up in the showbiz world has made her avoid reading stories about her parents or any of her family members online.
She told EVOKE: ‘I avoid all news at this stage. The world is crazy lately. I try to avoid most things, everything is so negative… especially in America. People online these days barely have anything nice to say. I kind of pick and choose but no I wouldn’t be one to read anything into anyone I know.’
Ali is in her final year of studying psychology and criminology and is looking forward to the next 12 months of freedom after she qualifies.
She recently just returned back from New York after celebrating her mother Yvonne’s wedding to John Conroy. The couple got married in Central Park in March, followed by a small reception at the Hotel Chelsea.

‘It was dreamy. It was like something you’d see in movies,’ Ali said.
‘Being in New York with the roads closed (because of a protest), we had to jump on the subway with mam in her wedding dress. We all actually said one of our favourite parts of the day was getting onto the subway.
‘She had a fab day. I’m delighted for the two of them. They came back here. John’s working in Ireland, which is great at the moment. They get to spend loads of time together.’
Ali said ‘fixing fences’ is their ideal honeymoon as they have no plans to fly away anytime soon.

‘Out in the tractor and fixing fencing is their ideal honeymoon.
‘They’re putting the honeymoon on hold. They travel so much together, I think mam was happy to come back to the horses and the yard here and have John home for once because he works away so much.
‘We all felt like they were married anyway. It wasn’t a big engagement or a shock. We all knew it was going to happen.
‘The opportunity came about to go to New York, so they decided to take it and then they came back here and see everyone else. We’ll get to celebrate soon with the extended family and friends coming into the summer.

‘But they had a fab day, and it was great to have all of us together and not too big of a wedding. Just John, his six kids and us three, so it was great.
‘Mam doesn’t like any fuss, she doesn’t like anything crazy or over the top.’
Ali was speaking at the launch of The Marie Keating Foundation’s 100km in 30 Days challenge.

Ali was joined by her brother Jack and sister Missy as they invite people across Ireland to walk, run, wheel or move 100 kilometres throughout June, just over 3km a day, in support of vital lifesaving cancer services nationwide.
Ali said: ‘They’re making it a bit more inclusive so it’s for everyone that struggled with cancer and not just breast cancer so they are really trying to get everyone involved and everyone have the connection to it.
‘It’s really important. You can run, cycle, wheel, walk. I said I might do it on the horses.’
