Katie Taylor’s emotional Croke Park finale had more than 80,000 fans watching on Saturday night – but some viewers were keeping an eye on the action outside the ring too.
The Bray woman, 40, bowed out at the very top, beating Flora Pili on points in front of an electric Croker.
But among those watching from ringside was a rather unexpected face – the man known online as the ‘Ibiza Final Boss’.
His appearance did not go unnoticed, with eagle-eyed viewers taking to X after spotting him enjoying a prime view of Taylor’s final fight.
One person wrote: ‘Katie Taylor’s final fight and the Ibiza final boss is sat 2 seats down from Barry and Eddie Hearn?!? Someone make it make sense.’
Another joked: ‘Ibiza Final Boss managed to get in on the act too.’
A third viewer appeared to do a double take, asking: ‘Is that the Ibiza Final Boss sitting in the front row of the Katie Taylor fight’.
The Ibiza Final Boss became one of the most recognisable faces of summer 2025 after footage of him partying on the island went viral online.
His distinctive look – complete with a bob haircut, thick gold chain, sunglasses, black vest and Louis Vuitton crossbody bag -quickly turned him into a social media sensation.
A video featuring him was shared by Zero Six West Ibiza as people tried to identify the mystery man, with the clip eventually racking up more than 16 million views and prompting a flood of memes and comments.
He was eventually identified, bringing an end to the mystery surrounding the man behind the now-famous Ibiza nickname.
The unusual sighting on Saturday night also sparked some discussion about the celebrity turnout around the ring, with one viewer writing: ‘Serious lack of ‘celebrity’ ringside at #CrokePark. Paddy Pimblett the only one I recognise.’
They added that they hoped it was a sign the prime seats had gone to Taylor’s family and friends.
