Man, 60s, dies after being pulled from water off Donegal coast

A man in his 60s has died after being pulled from the water off the coast of Donegal.
The man was spotted in the water near Ned’s Point, outside Buncrana, at around 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene following the discovery.
The man was subsequently taken from the water but was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The incident occurred at Ned’s Point, a coastal area located close to Buncrana on the Inishowen Peninsula.
