Fans of Michael Bublé who were in Dublin last night couldn’t believe their luck, as the man himself surprised them with an intimate gig.
The Canadian crooner has long shared his love for Ireland over the years, saying back in 2023 that he loved playing for Irish fans, before joining Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show for a duet.
While Michael is set to play Malahide Castle on Saturday night (June 27) before heading to Limerick’s Thomond Park on Sunday (June 28), fans in Doyle’s Pub on College Street in Dublin were treated to a surprise appearance from the singer.

The Ruby Sessions, which was founded by musicians Niall Muckian and Conor Donovan, has become a popular part of Dublin’s music scene — where those in attendance buy tickets without knowing who’s on the card.
While the events are usually reserved for up and coming artists, sometimes fans can get lucky with an A-lister — including names such as Ed Sheeran, Hozier and Lewis Capaldi, who have all performed there over the years.
Michael treated pubgoers to his hits, including Dance With Me Tonight and Moondance, before teasing his upcoming country album, which he described as a ‘love letter’ to the genre.

Michael will headline at Malahide Castle in Dublin on Saturday night (June 27) before heading to Limerick, where he’ll be playing at Thomond Park.
Speaking back in 2023 before a show in Ireland, Michael said of his Irish fans: ‘I love them, they are my people. I really do, I have a big deep love. Amazing people [and] great audiences. It’s impossible not to be in love with those people.’
‘It’s just one of those places, where as an entertainer or a human being, you don’t have to be something you are not. The more natural and genuine I am, the more fun that I have.’
While Michael and his family have come to Ireland on loads of occasions, Michael revealed that his favourite time to come is Christmastime, saying that he loves ‘just getting a walk down the street and going shopping.’
‘I love it at Christmas. It’s a very romantic place at Christmas, everything all lit up and all the shops and my music playing through every store,’ he joked.
