Later today (Wed), that much-anticipated meet between the Taoiseach and US President Donald Trump takes place at the White House. Following an eventful few weeks and indeed days in the world of Trump, many eyes will be on the proceedings in Washington where a range of issues are expected to be discussed between the two parties. Dan Mulhall is a Waterford man and a retired Irish diplomat; a former Ambassador of Ireland to the US (as well as to the UK, Germany and Malaysia). This morning on 'Deise Today', he spoke to Damien about how he expects things to pan out, his own experiences in meeting with and dealing with Donald Trump AND how he thinks Michael Martin will have prepared for, and will work, the meet.
