Racegoers enjoyed a seven-race card at the Tramore races on Friday evening, with Journey So Far getting the meeting off to a winning start in the opening Beginners Chase for trainer Gavin Cromwell and jockey Keith Donoghue.

The going was good, good to yielding in places, with conditions described as fine and breezy throughout the evening.

Endless Talking won the second race on the card, before Femme Magnifique landed the Walsh King Accountants Handicap Chase. Poetic Twist then claimed the Success Days At Kilbarry Lodge Stud Mares Maiden Hurdle.

Zolpharine took victory in the Tramore Handicap Hurdle, while Waterford trainer owned Splashing Out won the Graun Hill Suite Hospitality Handicap Hurdle.

One Day In May rounded off the evening by winning the August Festival Pro-Am INH Flat Race as another successful meeting came to a close at the County Waterford track.

Racing continues this weekend at Tramore racecourse.
