On 'Deise Today' this morning (Friday), we heard the fascinating story of Birdy Ward.
Living in Mullinavat, Birdy - who was seven months pregnant - was involved in a serious car accident back in late January, which threatened the lives of both her and her unborn baby.
What followed was a journey which, thankfully, had a good news outcome for both, thanks to intervention from medics that Birdy will forever be grateful for.
