More than 90 new homes and a creche could be built in Ferrybank under plans lodged with Kilkenny County Council.
Killabeg Holdings Limited is seeking permission for a development at Clover Avenue in Abbeylands, which would include apartments, terraced homes and semi-detached houses.
The proposed development would consist of 91 residential units and a new creche building.
The plans include 15 one-bed apartments, nine two-bed apartments, 59 three-bed terraced homes and eight four-bed semi-detached houses.
New vehicular and pedestrian access points are also planned from Clover Avenue, along with landscaping, open spaces and connections to public drainage services.
The application has been lodged with Kilkenny County Council by Killabeg Holdings Limited.
