Waterford’s new public plaza at the Clock Tower on Meagher’s Quay is expected to open to the public by the coming weekend.

Final snagging works are currently being completed on the project, with the new space set to become the latest addition to the city’s revitalised waterfront.

The plaza has been developed as part of ongoing public realm improvements along the quays and will provide a new area for people to relax and enjoy views of the River Suir.

Its opening is expected to mark another milestone in the enhancement of Waterford’s city centre, with the new public space linking into the wider regeneration of the waterfront.
