Saoirse-Monica Jackson has officially jetted off on her honeymoon with husband Denis Sulta, months after the couple tied the knot.
The Derry Girls star married the DJ, whose real name is Hector Barbour, in a romantic ceremony in Kerry last August, after announcing their engagement earlier in 2024.
Now, eight months on, the newlyweds have finally headed off on their long-awaited honeymoon, kicking things off in Barbados.

Sharing a series of loved-up snaps from the trip, the pair looked to be making the most of their time in the sun, soaking up everything the island has to offer.
From beach days to local food spots, the couple gave fans a glimpse into what Denis described as ‘part one’ of their dream honeymoon.
One standout photo shows Denis carrying Saoirse bridal-style during a night out at a food market, as the pair laughed and posed together.

Captioning the post, he wrote that the holiday was ‘the trip of a lifetime’ with ‘the most amazing person.’
The couple have been enjoying all the highlights of Barbados life, including visits to the famous Oistins Fish Fry, sampling plenty of seafood, and even spotting monkeys during their stay.
They were also treated to a few special surprises along the way, including a romantic dessert with a sparkler and ‘Happy Anniversary’ written in chocolate.

Back at their hotel, staff went all out to mark the occasion, decorating their room with rose petals and arranging towels into heart and swan shapes for the newlyweds.
The honeymoon comes just months after Saoirse shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes detail from their wedding day.

Appearing on The Late Late Show with Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee, she revealed she took part in an unusual tradition in the hopes of securing good weather.
Joking about how far she was willing to go, Saoirse explained she followed a TikTok tip suggesting people bury sausages for luck, and fully committed to it.

‘I would have just done anything for good weather,’ she laughed, admitting she buried a full pack ahead of the big day.
Thankfully, the gamble paid off, with Saoirse confirming the weather held up, adding that between the sausages and a few traditional Child of Prague statues, ‘it worked!’
