Pierce Brosnan is gearing up for the release of MobLand season two, but before the show drops, he managed to fit in a little family time.

This week, the actor enjoyed a day out with his mother Mary May, who is in her 90s, for a special occasion: his son Paris’ girlfriend’s birthday.

Photos from the celebrations show the family at lunch together and walking around a very sunny Kensington and Chelsea.

Paris shared several snaps, including a lovely one of him standing with his dad, grandmother, and girlfriend Alex Lee-Aillón outside.

For lunch, Paris kept things casual in a white T-shirt and jeans while Alex was stylish in a pale yellow dress with a floral pattern.

Mary looked chic in her light blue jacket paired with a white scarf while Pierce was dapper as always in a navy jacket and blue shirt.

As well as lunch, the family got to do a little sightseeing, with birthday girl Alex wearing a checked jacket in some of the photos.

Paris later paid tribute to his other half on Instagram, sharing a slew of pictures of them together to mark her birthday.

Pierce also wished Alex a happy birthday, commenting: ‘Happy birthday, dear Alex. Happiest of days. Love.’

The Irish actor is known for being a big family man and previously told The Guardian that his mother is very important to him.

He said: ‘She’s an amazing woman, and she’s taught me a lot about life and how to deal with adversity.’

Mary May raised Pierce while working as a nurse, and he once described her as ‘a woman of great spirit, great compassion, and great love.’
