Westlife have long been hoping Mark Feehily will soon be back on stage, and while his in-person return might still be a way off, the singer has made a return to the band.
2026 is a huge year for Westlife, with them marking 25 years in music and going on a huge tour, which includes multiple nights performing at the 3Arena in Dublin.
Although there are lots of celebrations planned, Mark will not be on stage with Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne, and Shane Filan, so when fans heard his voice on the band’s new song on Friday, they were delighted.

Westlife’s new song, Your Love Amazes Me, goes back to their classic ballad sound and is dedicated to their fans who have made the past quarter-century so special.
‘This one’s for you,’ Westlife wrote. ‘Thank you for 25 incredible years of love and support, it means everything to us. We hope this song feels as special to you as it does to us.’
Writing in the comments, Kian said: ‘What a tune… back to the old Westlife sound. We hope you all love it as much as I do.’

Nicky added: ‘Something’s just never leave you and there’s something about a ballad that just feels like home to us. We didn’t set out to try to recreate the past; this one just felt right.
‘It’s us – a little older and a little wiser – and to have Mark on there too!!’
Mark reshared the song and went on to post a video showing how he managed to take part in the song despite not performing with the band at the moment.
‘Really enjoyed recording/producing/comping my own vocals on this one in a secret Dublin studio last Sept,’ Mark wrote.

He added: ‘The boys all sounding specuactular too and thanks Louis Walsh for the song suggestion.’
Mark also shared an update on how he’s doing amid his health battle, telling fans: ‘Ps. I really miss you all. But everything is going to be GREAT! Loike Tony de Toiger xxxx’
Mark’s health battle began in August 2020 when he underwent a routine surgery, but on the day that followed, was rushed back into the hospital, only to be told he had sepsis.
Following this, he was in the intensive care unit during the pandemic and in 2021 became ill with pneumonia.

To many fans’ disappointment, he had to pull out of Westlife’s Wild Dreams Tour after a severe chest infection.
Since then, he has shared a few updates on how he’s feeling and, in December 2025, announced a new project, revealing he’ll be hosting an RTÉ radio show.
He said: ‘My body and my mind need time. However, thankfully, sitting in a chair to do a radio show is a completely different physical and mental demand than doing a massive world tour, and I feel very lucky to be able to do this new RTÉ Radio One show.’
