They came, they snogged, they coupled up, and while a handful went on to conquer the real world, many of Ireland’s Love Island stars have disappeared into relative obscurity.
Ireland has spawned several standout Love Island contestants across more than a decade of the hit ITV2 show.
From Marbella fitness empires to Dancing With The Stars America, the Emerald Isle has punched well above its weight in the villa. Here is the definitive guide to every Irish Islander and what they are doing today.
Shannen Reilly McGrath, Series 3 (2017)

The original Irish Love Islander, Shannen, was dumped from the villa after just three days in 2017 alongside fellow Dubliner Rob Lipsett. Despite the brief stint, Shannen had no regrets, saying at the time that it was “an amazing stepping stone no matter how long you’re in there for.” She has since built a solid social media following and influencing career.
Rob Lipsett, Series 3 (2017)

The Dublin fitness entrepreneur entered Casa Amor as a bombshell and lasted just two days before being dumped without coupling up. His Love Island chapter may have been brief, but his career certainly was not. Rob now runs his coaching service GAMEPLAN, which has helped over 5,000 clients transform their health, and he has grown what he describes as Ireland’s most-viewed fitness YouTube channel with 64 million views. In 2025, he became a father, bought his dream car, built his dream home gym, and ran his own business event in Marbella, where he is now based.
Yewande Biala, Series 5 (2019)

The Dublin scientist was one of the most popular contestants of her series before being cruelly dumped when Danny Williams turned his head towards bombshell Arabella Chi. She handled her exit with absolute class. Since leaving the villa, Yewande has fronted Channel 4’s critically acclaimed The Secrets Of The Female Orgasm, appeared on Dancing With The Stars Ireland, co-hosted Capital Xtra’s tea-time podcast, and released her debut book Reclaiming, which explores racism, body image, and mental health. She remains one of the most impressive post-villa success stories among Irish Islanders.
Greg O’Shea, Series 5 (2019) Winner

The Limerick rugby sevens star entered the villa as a late bombshell on day 43 and swept Amber Gill off her feet to win the series, though they split just weeks after leaving. Since then, Greg has carved out a successful media career in Ireland. He married South African model Jeanni Mulder in October 2025 at an intimate ceremony in Dublin, where the couple has now happily settled.
Maura Higgins, Series 5 (2019) Third Place

The undisputed queen of Irish Love Island alumni. The Longford native finished third alongside Curtis Pritchard and has barely stopped since. She has hosted Glow Up Ireland, served as social ambassador and Aftersun host for Love Island USA, appeared on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2024, and starred in The Traitors US Season 4 in early 2026. In April 2026, she was confirmed as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars in America. She is currently single following her split from Peter Wicks around Valentine’s Day 2025 and lives in Essex.
Matthew MacNabb, Series 7 (2021) Casa Amor

The Down native entered as a Casa Amor bombshell and briefly coupled with Kaz Kamwi before she chose to rekindle things with Tyler Cruickshank. He has maintained a low profile since leaving the show.
Salma Naran, Series 7 (2021) Casa Amor

Another Irish Casa Amor bombshell who did not get nearly enough screen time to show her personality. Salma entered alongside Kaila Troy and departed without finding love. She has since returned to her life and social media presence in Ireland.
Kaila Troy, Series 7 (2021) Casa Amor

A third Irish Casa Amor contestant from the same series, Kaila, received very limited screen time during her time in the villa and left without coupling up. Another talent that the producers arguably did not give enough of a chance.
Dami Hope, Series 8 (2022) Third Place

The Dublin-born senior microbiologist entered Series 8 hoping to find love and eventually finished third with Indiyah Polack. The couple was together for over three years before confirming their split in December 2025 amid a cheating controversy. Dami is now a full-time content creator and influencer with over 1 million followers, focusing on fashion, lifestyle, and travel, and also runs his streetwear brand Snowbunny.
Jack Keating, Series 8 (2022), Casa Amor and All Stars Series 3 (2026)

Son of Boyzone legend Ronan Keating, Jack lasted just four days in Casa Amor in 2022. He returned for Love Island All Stars 2026, declaring it his “revenge tour”, having also become a father to a daughter named Maya in the intervening years.
Catherine Agbaje, Series 10 (2023) and All Stars Series 2 (2025)

The Dublin commercial real estate agent appeared on Series 10 in 2023 before returning for All Stars in 2025, finishing fourth with Omary Nyame, though their romance ended shortly after leaving the villa. She remains active as a TV personality.
Billykiss Azeez, Series 12 (2025)

Born in Nigeria and raised in the Irish midlands, the 28-year-old Dublin-based content creator and fashion influencer entered the villa as a bombshell in Series 12. She was already a well-established name before the show, having been named Influencer of the Year at the 2021 Black and Irish Awards. She failed to find love in the villa but has since appeared on The Traitors Ireland: Uncloaked and continues to grow her platform.
Conor Phillips and Megan Forte Clarke, Series 12 (2025)

Love Island’s first-ever all-Irish couple have provided the feel-good story of the past twelve months. Munster rugby player Conor and Dublin musical theatre performer Megan struck up a connection during the 2025 series. In November 2025, they moved in together in London, and as of June 2026, they are still very much going strong. In a show not known for lasting love, theirs is a genuine exception.
