With the action continuing again this evening, Scotland will look to join them.
Two of the host nations are all but through to the last 32 of the World Cup, with Scotland looking to join them tonight.
Mexico, are safely through to the round of 32 thanks to their 1-0 win against Korea Republic.
Luis Romo’s goal in the 50th minute in Guadalajara made all the difference there.
That’s two wins from as many games, and they are through to the knockout stages.
Canada is also all but through.
Jonathan David scored a hat-trick in their 6-nil win, leaving Canada now on four points, and all but through to the knockout stages.
But Canada’s will has been marred by an awful injury to midfielder Ismael Kone.
He had his leg broken by a challenge, which saw Assim Omer Madibo sent off.
Canada boss Jesse Marsch says it was horrible.
“Everyone could hear the bone snap.
“Your heart goes out to him, and everybody is a little shaken by the whole experience, because of the nature of the injury and also because Ismael is a big part of the heart of our team.
“It will be a big loss for us.”
Switzerland are also in that group.
They beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1.
Bosnia finished the game with ten men, and Jonathan Mzambi got a brace for the Swiss.
Elsewhere, there’s still work to be done for Czechia and South Africa after they drew 1-1 in Atlanta.
Tonight, Scotland take on Morocco in Boston, and manager Steve Clarke knows the semi-finalists from four years ago will prove to be a much sterner test than Haiti.
“They’re a fantastic team.
“They’ve got a good work ethic. They’ve got power. They’ve got pace.
“They’ve got little bits of skill, they can open a game, they can create 1v1s, and they can beat you 1v1.
“So yeah, for me, Morocco are the real deal.”
Meanwhile, Haiti take on Brazil, who are looking to get their first win of the tournament in Philadelphia.
Turkey take on Paraguay in San Francisco.
And the United States, take on Australia in Seattle.
Both of those teams won their opening game, so victory for either would see them guarantee their place in the next round.
