The official launch of Déise HQ, the new digital home of Waterford GAA, took place on Thursday, 16 July at the GAA World Games at SETU in Waterford.

Developed in partnership with Social Ties, the new app brings Waterford GAA supporters closer to the action by providing a central hub for fixtures, results, live scores, Team of the Week, Player of the Week, Scores of the Week, match highlights, news and much more.

Social Ties Managing Director Walter Walsh was on hand for the official launch, marking another important step in Waterford GAA’s efforts to improve how it communicates and engages with supporters at home and abroad.

Déise HQ has been available to download since late June and has already become the fastest-growing county board app developed through the platform to date, attracting thousands of downloads in its opening weeks.

The aim of Déise HQ is simple: to bring everything Waterford GAA into one easily accessible place. For supporters, the app provides a convenient way to keep up to date with the latest club and county news, fixtures, results and exclusive content, while also offering greater opportunities to engage with Waterford GAA throughout the season.
