Local trainer Henry de Bromhead has enjoyed a 34/1 treble success at Wexford this afternoon.

The Knockeen trainer landed his first success of the day in the Wexford Town Mares’ Beginners Chase when Ma Belle Etoile (3/1) ridden by Darragh O’Keeffe comfortably scored by three and three quarter lengths.

de Bromhead didn’t take long to return to the winners enclosure as the Patrick O’Brien-ridden Wonleg (5/2) justified favouritism in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase as he was driven out for a one-and-a-quarter length victory.

It was soon a treble for de Bromhead and a double for O’Keeffe as 6/4 favourite Nouvotic was first past the post in the www.wexfordraces.ie Beginners Chase – seeing off Palamon easily to win with two-and-a-half lengths in hand.

The Waterford trainer has had a fruitful July so far – sending out 11 winners from 37 runners – operating a strike rate of almost 30%.
