Waterford man Gavin Daniels spoke to Damien on 'Déise Today' in recent days about his wife Yvonne and her battle with stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. Yvonne, mother of two young kids, was diagnosed shortly after giving birth to their baby Fiadh last year, and with limited options for treatment available in Ireland, Gavin told Damien about their pursuit of advanced treatment abroad. The family are hoping to raise €80,000 through a GoFundMe campaign called 'Yvonne's Treatment Abroad', so that Yvonne can access promising treatments in Germany that have seen some patients' conditions improve drastically.
