Monica Jacob nee Griffin, Late of Saint Johns Park, Waterford.

Monica passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday the 19th of August 2025.

RIP

Predeceased by her beloved husband Larry, son-in-law, Gerry, sister, May and her brother Jimmy.

Monica will be sadly missed by her daughter, Toinette, sons, Peter and Paul and her daughter-in-law, Clodagh; she will be sadly missed by all her loving grandchildren, David, Rachel, Laura, Sally, Hannah, Ellen, Holly and her 6 great grandchildren. Monica will be remembered by her sisters, Theresa and Betty and a special mention for Helen and Julie who will forever hold Monica in their hearts. Monica will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours, and many friends in both St. Johns Park and Ballymacaw and all who knew and loved her in the Bridge Club.

The Jacob family would like to thank, with great appreciation, Mary and all the staff in Killure Bridge Nursing Home for the wonderful care Monica received throughout her time there.

May her gentle soul rest peacefully.

Monica will be reposing at Killure Bridge Nursing Home, Co.Waterford on Thursday the 21st of August from 6pm to 7pm.

All are welcome.

Monica’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday the 22nd of August, at 10am at The Sacred Heart Church, The Folly Waterford.

After which Monica will be laid to rest in Butlerstown Cemetery.
