‘Oisín was an outstanding player for our club throughout the juvenile ranks, winning every A Hurling title up to U20 level as a tenacious and skilful defender. One of his proudest achievements came when he played a pivotal role at corner back as part of the team that secured our only A Football Championship title in the u20 final in recent years.

‘Only last Friday evening, Oisín proudly lined out in the black and red in our Bolger Shield Hurling Semi-Final. The Martin family have always been a huge part of our club community, with John Joe giving so much through his involvement as a camogie and ladies football coach, and Oisín’s sisters – Hannah, Rachel and Emily – all representing the club with pride.

‘Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Breda, John Joe, Hannah, Rachel and Emily, along with Oisin’s extended family, teammates and his many friends during this incredibly difficult time.’
