There are still hopes of temperatures hitting 30C later in the month, according to a weather expert online.
Last month saw record-breaking heat hit the country, with temperatures even surpassing 30C in some areas.
June has been a more temperamental month as scattered showers and cooler temperatures disrupt the summer experience.

There has been some reprieve since the weekend, though heavy rainfall is expected for later in the week.
Carlow Weather’s Alan O’Reilly took to X to confirm the fact, adding that ‘weekend details [were] uncertain yet.’
The weather expert earlier in the weekend confirmed that a change could come into effect from late next week.

‘The last few weather model updates have shown a blast of very warm air moving up around the 25th,’ Alan shared.
‘This far out it is very uncertain but interesting both models have shown it as a possible outcome. Could see us hit 30C again “if” it did happen.’
For now though, the week ahead looks set to bring temperatures of around 20C with sunshine, clouds and scattered showers throughout.

Monday will see hazy sunshine at the start, with cloud thickening from the southwest and west heading into the afternoon leading to light rain and drizzle.
Met Éireann notes that there will be ‘limited sunny spells’ on Tuesday with further patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle — particularly in Munster and Leinster.
Wednesday will be breezy with sunny spells, but a good deal of dry weather, while Thursday will see more patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
As the afternoon progresses into evening, this will become more persistent with heavier rain spreading from the south.
Looking ahead, Met Éireann said: ‘While there is uncertainty, there are indications for high pressure to exert influencer over the weekend, bringing some spells of dry and bright weather, with temperatures in the mid to high teens on Saturday, and a little bit higher on Sunday.’
