Former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has been found guilty of all 18 counts of rape and sexual assault against two victims when they were children.
The judge at Newry Crown Court said Donaldson will face a lengthy prison sentence and he is to be remanded in custody.
The former DUP leader had pleaded not guilty to one count of rape, four counts of gross indecency and 13 counts of indecent assault between 1985 and 2008.

The 63-year-old reportedly showed no emotion and had his head in his hands as the verdicts were being read out.
Donaldson is now also being placed on the sex offenders’ list.

Eleanor Donaldson had faced a trial of the facts on mental health grounds and the jury found that she committed five counts of aiding and abetting her husband.
This form of trial occurs when a defendant cannot be tried because of serious ill-health.
In a trial of the facts, a jury cannot find the person guilty and determines if they committed the acts instead.
While the defendant cannot be convicted, they can be acquitted, which was not the case on Monday.
