Dunmore East in County Waterford is set to benefit from almost two million euro in funding for its harbour.

It’s part of a 35 million euro capital investment package announced by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed.

€550,000 is for the next phase of the upgrade of the West Wharf.

€500,000 is earmarked for a new pontoon with the same amount to be used for safety and maintenance.

€20,000 will be spent on disability access with the remaining 400 thousand for contractual commitments.
