Emergency services are at the scene of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision in Waterford City.

The incident happened within the past hour on the Newtown Road, near the Teachers’ Centre (Waterford Education Support Centre ) opposite De La Salle College Secondary School.

No injuries have been reported.

Emergency services have confirmed to WLR that the outbound lane towards the Dunmore Road will remain closed for a period while the scene is cleared.
