It’s Maura Higgins’ world, and we’re all just living in it!
After a big year which has seen the Irish star make a name for herself in America after appearing on The Traitors US, she’s now secured another achievement.
The Love Island alum has been named alongside some of the world’s biggest social media stars on TIME’s renowned TIME100 Creators list for 2026.

The annual list recognises creators across entertainment, fashion, food, sport, education and beyond.
Boasting nearly 6million followers across Instagram and TikTok, Maura joined a star-studded lineup which included influencer Alix Earle, gymnast Olivia ‘Livvy’ Dunne, entrepreneur Alex Cooper, and chef Tini Younger.
Paying homage to Maura’s rise to stardom, TIME said: ‘Not everyone who makes it onto reality TV possesses an ability to achieve celebrity status, but Maura Higgins has crossed that Rubicon.’

Following her stint on the fifth season of Love Island in 2019, Maura appeared on Dancing on Ice and various shows across Ireland and the United Kingdom.
She then took on the role as social media presenter for Love Island USA, and presented the show’s Aftersun for a period of time.
The publication said the Longford lady won people over with her ‘deep Irish brogue, straight-up delivery, and cheeky sense of humour.’
While she ‘made waves in mainstream American media’ with Love Island USA, it was her recent appearance on The Traitors US where TIME says her ‘star went supernova.’

Earlier this year, Maura added another major milestone when she co-hosted TIME’s inaugural livestream of its TIME100 Gala red carpet in New York, alongside TV presenter Terrence J.
The TIME100 Creators list acknowledges influential digital personalities from more than a dozen countries across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Spotify and Substack.
The latest accolade for Maura comes just months after she was revealed as one of the celebrity contestants for the next series of Dancing with the Stars in the US.

Speaking at the time the news was revealed, Maura admitted she was both ‘very scared but very excited.’
‘I have manifested this for a long time,’ she told Good Morning America, ‘I’m a huge believer of manifestations.
‘I had it on my vision board, and now it is actually happening.’
