Samaritans Waterford & South East mark 50 years of being there for the community – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Their volunteers will be Together in Step on Friday, 24th of July, walking the beautiful Waterford Greenway from both Dungarvan and Waterford, meeting in the middle at The Coach House, Kilmacthomas.

Volunteers will set off at 8:15am from the Council Car Park, Dungarvan and Bilberry Car Park, Waterford.
Both groups will walk towards Kilmacthomas, arriving at The Coach House at approximately 1:30pm for lunch and a celebration of 50 years of supporting people across Waterford and the South East.

Join them along the way for part of the journey at any of the following locations:

Railway Cottage, Dungarvan (refreshment stop)
Waterford Suir Valley Railway, Kilmeaden (refreshment stop)
Carroll’s Cross – approximately 7km from Kilmacthomas
McGrath’s Cross – approximately 5km from Kilmacthomas
After lunch, buses will be available to bring walkers back to their starting points, making it easy for everyone to take part.
