Plans are afoot to establish the new Mahon Valley Men’s Shed, which will serve communities from the Comeraghs to Bunmahon, with Kilmacthomas at its heart. 

The Open Mornings for Mahon Valley Men’s Shed will continue over the next two Thursdays, July 23rd and 30th, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, and everyone is welcome to call in, located at the back of Kilmacthomas Fire Station on Main Street. 

A Men’s Shed is about so much more than woodworking or crafts. It’s a place to make new friends, share skills, enjoy a cuppa, support one another, and plan activities that reflect the interests of its members. As the Mahon Valley Men’s Shed develops, it will be the members themselves who help shape its future.
