Kilrossanty have recorded a 13 points to 7 victory over An Rinn in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Senior Football Championship.

The Group A meeting took place in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, Dungarvan.

Kilrossanty were driven on from defence by Seamus Fitzgerald, Pádraig Fitzgerald and Caoimhin Walsh, while Colm Barry put in a strong shift in midfield.

Alan Dunwoody provided a threat up front, while Paul Whyte came off the bench and kicked two two-pointers.

For An Rinn, Lorcán Ó Corraoin and Ben Mac Ualtair were prominent, with much of their attacking threat coming from the left-hand side. Caolán Mac Craith also contributed two points from wing-back.
