In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Senior Football Championship, The Nire came out on top against An Rinn on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-11 in Group A.

Gaultier also recorded a strong victory in Group A, defeating Kilrossanty by 1-15 to 0-9 at Azzurri, Walsh Park.

In Group B, Abbeyside-Ballinacourty produced an impressive display to see off Stradbally by 0-20 to 1-5.

There was a close contest in the Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate Football Championship, with Portlaw edging past Mount Sion by 1-16 to 0-15.

In the Radley Engineering Western Board Intermediate Football League Division 1, Deuglán Naofa and Shamrocks played out a tight encounter, with Shamrocks winning 1-11 to 2-8.

Tulach An Iarainn recorded a convincing 5-13 to 0-8 victory over Brickey Rangers in the Munster Sign & Print Western Board Intermediate Football League Division 1.

In the Edward O Rourke Western Board Junior C Football League Division 1, Clashmore Kinsalebeg defeated Dún Garbhán 3-5 to 2-1.

The Tony Kirwan Plant Hire Eastern Junior B/C Football Championship saw victories for St Saviour’s and Rathgormack.

St Saviour’s overcame Micheal MacCraith by 2-5 to 1-9, while Rathgormack defeated Gaultier 1-14 to 3-10.
