The Tony Kirwan Plant Hire Eastern Intermediate Football Championship gets underway at 1 pm, with Kilmacthomas facing De La Salle in Fenor.

That is followed at 3.30 pm by Fenor against Newtown in Butlerstown, before Kill take on Bonmahon at 5.15 pm in Dunhill.

In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Co. Senior Football Championship, the Nire face Gaultier at 7.30 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field in Dungarvan.

There is also a game in the Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate Football Championship Group A, with Rathgormack meeting Brickey Rangers at 6 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

In Group B, Mount Sion play Modeligo at 2 pm in Lemybrien, while Portlaw take on Clashmore Kinsalebeg at 3.45 pm, also in Lemybrien.

The Radley Engineering Western Board Intermediate Football League Division One sees Colligan Emmetts play Shamrocks at 2 pm in Cappoquin, with Ballinameela facing Deuglán Naofa at 3.30 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

In Division Two, Affane/Cappoquin/Tourin take on Abbeyside-Ballinacourty at 2 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

There are three junior football championship fixtures in the east.

Erin’s Own meet Roanmore at 2 pm in Poleberry in the Tony Kirwan Plant Hire Eastern Junior A Football Championship.

Mount Sion face St Saviour’s at 4 pm in Mt. Sion in the Eastern Junior B/C Football Championship.

And at 6 pm, Butlerstown play St Mollerans in the Eastern Junior A Football Championship, with that game taking place in Butlerstown.
