The All-Ireland Senior Hurling final this Sunday is gearing up as both Galway and Limerick have named their sides for the showpiece.
For Galway, who are in their first All-Ireland Final since 2018, Micheál Donoghue has named an unchanged side from the Tribesmen’s victory over Cork as his young stallions look to bring the Liam McCarthy Cup back out West.
In goals is Darrach Fahy, with Joshua Ryan and Cillian Trayers either side of captain and Sarsfield man Darren Morrissey at full-backs. In front of them, Ronan Glennon is joined by the experience of Padraic Mannion and Daithí Burke in the half-backs.

Tiernan Killeen and Gavin Lee are in midfield, and in the half-forward line Cathal Mannion and Darragh Neary are joined by the free-scoring Tom Monaghan. Then, lastly up front, it’s Conor Whelan with Jason Rabbitte and Aaron Niland.
Conor Cooney keeps his place on the bench as he is set for his fifth All-Ireland final, while Rory Burke misses out after sustaining an injury before the semi-final win over Cork.
For Limerick, John Kiely has recalled captain Cian Lynch in place of Darragh O’Donovan after he was pulled to the bench before throw-in for the semi-final win over Dublin due to an injury concern. The only other change made is at full-back as Mike Casey comes in for Dan Morrissey.

Nickie Quaid keeps his place in goals, with Barry Nash and Sean Finn joining Casey. Will O’Donoghue, Kyle Hayes and Diarmaid Byrnes start at half-backs with Adam English joining Lynch in midfield.
Aidan O’Connor is joined by Cathal O’Neill and Gearoid Hegarty in the half-forward line and up front it’s Aaron Gillane, Shane O’Brien and Peter Casey.
The Treaty men are looking for their first title since 2023, and their sixth in eight years with a win on Sunday. It all goes off on Sunday, July 19, with throw-in at 3:30pm. You can watch it on RTÉ and BBC.
