Waterford artist Lisa Keane joined Dymphna Nugent on The Saturday Café to reflect on her schooldays.

This comes as earlier this week, Minister for Education, Norma Foley TD announced a series of measures to combat bullying in schools.

Reflecting on her school days, Lisa recalls the lasting trauma left from schoolyard taunts and bullying.

As an artist, Lisa has made a career from using her hands to create works of art.

However, as she told Dymphna, it was those hands which were the target of name-killing and cruelty.
