A group of young Tramore surfers are preparing to represent Ireland on the World stage in December in Peru. Giorgi Herterich, Keelan Maloney, Ella Dooly, Ruby Fanning are currently fundraising for their trip to the World Junior Surfing Championships. The Tramore surfers popped into studio to speak with the Breakfast crew about the nerves, the competition, and the planning behind it all. Collectively, between €12,000 and €14,000 is needed to ensure the athletes can travel to compete. They told Dymphna and Andy that local businesses and individuals have been enduring in their support.
