Throughout Seachtain na Gaeilge 2025, WLR reporters gathered stories across the county on Irish culture, including its language.
Aidan Corbett ventured to the west of the county to talk to a variety of people on the resurgence the language is seeing in the Gaeltacht areas of An Rinn, An Sean Phobal as well as the Gaeltacht Service town of Dún Garbhán.
He spoke to local musician Christopher O'Sullivan, Scoil Garbhán Prinicpal, Silvia Uí Sheanlaoich agus Irish Officer at Oifig na Gaeilge for Waterford City and County Council, Máire Seó Breathnach.
