Anthony Keyes has now completed an astonishing 7 ultra-marathons in 7 days, totalling 350km covered between Waterford City and Tramore.
The Waterford man spoke with Ollie and Dymphna in advance of his gruelling ordeal, noting he kept his late brother-in-law Shane McCarthy to the forefront of his mind at all times.

An initial fundraising target of €3,000 was set, and when donations surpassed that sum, the target was extended and funds raised now sit in excess of €16,000.
All monies raised will be donated to Waterford Hospice for the extraordinary work they do locally.
Speaking on The Big Breakfast Blaa, Anthony Keyes gave the template for his typical day during that week, which all began with a bowl of Rice Krispies!
25km distance was covered each day before work, and then Anthony completed an 8-hour shift in Bank of Ireland.
Following his shift, he was back on the roads completing a further 25km, bringing him to an end of week total of 350km.
