Waterford motorists are being invited to get behind the wheel next month as part of a charity drive aiming to raise €6,000 for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Auto Boland and Ford’s Drive For Your Community event will take place at Costa Coffee in Waterford Retail Park on Saturday, September 19th.

For every valid test drive completed during the event, €30 will be donated to Irish Guide Dogs, with organisers hoping to reach 200 test drives and the maximum €6,000 donation.
A selection of new Ford vehicles will be available to drive, including the all-electric Ford Explorer, Capri and Puma Gen-E.
The Waterford event forms part of a wider partnership between Ford and Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Last autumn, Ford raised more than €26,000 for the charity through its Drive For Your Community initiative, with further charity test-drive events taking place around Ireland this year.
Those wishing to participate must be aged 18 or over and hold both a valid driving licence and valid motor insurance.
No purchase is necessary to take part.
