Retired Parish Priest of Aglish and Clashmore.
On 8th October 2025, peacefully, at his home, in the exceptional care of Jackie Kearns, members of the Portlaw Community and his wonderful nursing and care teams.
Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ellen O’Connor.
He will be sadly missed by his brother John, niece Joanne, nephew Daniel and their families, aunt Mary Cotter, sister-in-law Anna, John’s partner Bríghid and her son Gearóid, the extended O’Connor and Cotter families, Jackie Kearns and her family, Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, Priests of the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore and his many loyal friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Reception into St. Patrick’s Church Portlaw, on Sunday 12th October 2025 at 4.00 pm.
Reposing until 6.30 pm when prayers will be offered.
Requiem Mass on Monday 13th October 2025 at 2.00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
