Ann Bernadette (Netta) Lyons (née McGrath), ‘Charlton Villa’, Kilmurray, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

Netta passed away peacefully in her 98th year on the 13th of September 2026 in the excellent care of staff in St. Francis Unit, Dungarvan Community Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Jim, sons Don and Peter, her parents Peter and Elizabeth and brother Billy. Netta is deeply mourned and sadly missed by her daughter Anita, sons Alan, Colin and John, Anita’s partner Tom, daughters-in-law Fabiola, Anne, Camilla and Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, sister Maeve Clancy, sisters-in-law Valerie, Betty and Geraldine, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Netta will be reposing at Dungarvan Community Hospital Chapel on Tuesday evening, 15th September, from 5 p.m. with Prayers at 7 p.m.
Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning, 16th September, in St. Mary’s Parish Church, Dungarvan.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
