formerly of South Wales.

Val passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family in University Hospital Waterford,
on Friday the 5th of January 2024 RIP

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Billy, her sister Maureen and her brother Malcolm.

Val will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Anne, John and David; her adoring grandchildren Rebecca, Aaron, Abbie and Jay; her brother Neil; her sisters-in-law Rosemary and Josie; her son-in-law Sean and her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and her many friends.

The Skehan family wish to acknowledge with great appreciation all the staff of UHC and UHW for the tender and loving care Val received throughout her short illness.

Val’s remains will be reposing at Falconers Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co.Waterford on Monday the 8th of January form 6pm to 8pm. All are welcome and refreshments will be served throughout.

Val’s Funeral Cortege will leave her residence in Fenor at approximately 9:30am on Tuesday the 9th of January, before departing to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co.Cork for her Cremation Service at 12 noon.
