Who died on Friday, 13th June 2025 Aged 91 years

Peacefully, in the tender care of her loving family at University Hospital Waterford,

Predeceased by her precious son Richie and adored grandson Kieran, parents Tom and Brigid.

Maureen deeply regretted and will be so sadly missed by her loving husband Tom, children Siobhán, Liam, Tomás (Tom), Breda (Deasy), Johnny, Máirín (Devlin) and Éilís (Cantwell), daughters-in-law Kate, Bridget, Elaine and Frances, sons-in-law Denis, Declan and Pat, grandchildren Órla, Michael, Hannah, Rhiannon, Conor, Thomas, Sarah, David, Mark, Richard, James, Bronagh, Dearbhla, Caoimhe, Áine, Tom, Caitríona, Patrick, Kilian, Aoife, great grandchildren Glen, Fiadh, Gráinne, Lily, Sophie, Cuán and Rory, brother Liam (Cork) and sister Nuala McDonald (Ramsgrange), sisters-in-law Betty (Fitzpatrick) and Eileen (Drohan), brothers-in-law Jack and Tony, Nan, John Joe, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, neighbours, teaching colleagues and a wide circle of friends.

Maureen will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Saturday, 14th June, from 3pm followed by removal at 5pm to The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin. Maureen’s Requiem Mass will take place on Sunday 15th June at 10am, after which Maureen will be laid to rest in Kilnaspic cemetery (via her Home)
