Marion Cahill nee Shortall Late of The Terrace, Tramore, Co. Waterford and The Little Sisters of the Poor, St Josephs Home, Ferrybank

Marion passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 15th, 2025.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Dermot and her 5 brothers.
Marion will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Diane, Vincent and Bernard; son-in-law Martin; daughters-in-law Shirley and Caroline, she will be sadly missed by all her loving and much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marion will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

The Cahill family would like to thank, with great appreciation, all the staff of St Josephs Home Ferrybank for the wonderful care Marion received throughout her time there.

May her gentle soul rest peacefully.

Marion will be reposing at The Little Sisters of the Poor, St Josephs Home, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford, (Eircode X91 F882) on Monday, August 18th, from 5pm to 7pm.
All are welcome.
Marion’s Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday the 19th of August, at 10am at The Church of The Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford.
Marion will be laid to rest in the adjoining Cemetery afterwrads.

Marion’s funeral cortège ​will walk from Lodges Corner, Tramore Credit Union, at approximately 9:40 am to arrive for her Requiem Mass.
