
Liam (Willie Joe) Treacy, Cervantes, Ballycoe, Abbeyside, Dungarvan and formerly of Aglish, Co. Waterford (Late Department of Agriculture)
Liam passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, 7th October 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Alice and his brother Michael.
Liam is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his adoring wife Maureen, cherished children Karen and Paul, his son-in-law Will, daughter-in-law Janet, his adored grandchildren Ciara, Leah, Lauren and Sophia, brother John, sister-in-law Marion, nephew, nieces, extended family and his many friends.
Liam will be reposing at his home (X35 YN32) on Thursday evening, 9th October from 4 p.m with Prayers at 7 p.m.
Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday morning, 10th October, in St. Augustine’s Church, Abbeyside. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
The Treacy family would like to thank with great appreciation all the Cappoquin Medical Centre Team, Waterford Palliative Care Team, Waterford Public Health Nurses and Irish Cancer Society Night Nurse for the exceptional support and care Liam received in recent weeks.
