John Dalton, Late of Ballinakill Downs, Waterford, formerly of Rockenham, Ferrybank
Retired Principal Officer, Revenue Commissioners and Member of Waterford Golf Club.
Died Sunday June 12th, 2022
Predeceased by his parents, Pierce and Catherine Dalton and his brother Pat Dalton.
Survived by his wife Ann, son Conor, daughter-in-law Serenity, grandson Pierce and his nephew Eamonn. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Sr. Eleanor Dalton, Delia Douglas, Catherine Murphy, Ber McWey and his brother Joe, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. John’s family would like to thank the oncology department at Waterford University Hospital, the South East Palliative Care Unit and the Ambulance Service for their excellent care and support.

Reposing at Tom Hennessy Funeral Home, Johnstown, Waterford (X91 FW4A) on Tuesday June 14th from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday June 15th at 12.00oc in St. Mary’s Church, Ballygunner, Waterford, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House Private please.
John’s funeral mass will be livestreamed from 12.00oc on Wednesday by following the link here:

So very sorry to learn of John's death after his courageous long battle with illness. It was always a pleasure to be in John's company on and off the course at Waterford Golf Club as he was so positive to be around.
