Hollywood star Olivia Wilde has been speaking about her links to Waterford in an exclusive interview with Tramore native Debbie Ridgard.

Olivia Wilde is an American actress and director, best known for her roles in House, her work in films like Tron: Legacy, and directing movies such as Booksmart and Don’t Worry Darling.

Debbie, a former reporter and presenter who had stints in WLR, now works as an entertainment reporter with Sky News in London.

In the interview, Oliva and Debbie bonded over their shared heritage, with Olivia naming several Waterford locations during their chat.

Debbie, originally from Tramore, told Olivia she hails from the Déise, as the pair discussed their connections to the county.
