Who died peacefully at University Hospital Waterford on Wednesday 27th December 2023.
Predeceased by his parents John and Ann, his sisters Judy, Aileen and Mary and his brother Richard. Deeply mourned by his loving wife Angela, sons Tom and Patrick, his brother John, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Drohan’s Funeral Home, Dungarvan (Eircode X35 XF67) on Friday, 29th December, from 5p.m – 7p.m. Cremation will take place at 5p.m on Saturday, 30th December, at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co.Cork.

Joe was a tutor of mine over 20 years ago at the Adult Education in Waterford City and his kindness and peaceful nature left a lasting impression on me. A bed in heaven to to him. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family. Rest in Peace and thank you Joe for some great memories.

Such a shock to hear of Joe's passing on the radio yesterday morning. He was a lovely outgoing fellow ,well known at the tennis club. My sincere commiserations to his Wife & Family. RIP Joe.
