Waterford-based singer-songwriter Dave Lofts is set to make his Late Late Show debut this Friday night.

The rising musician, originally from Co. Wicklow, will perform on the programme alongside a packed line-up of guests from the worlds of sport and entertainment.

Comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell will join Patrick Kielty to discuss her move to Ireland, her return to US television and an upcoming Broadway appearance.

Irish athletics stars Rhasidat Adeleke and Kate O’Connor will also appear following their success at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.

Former Irish rugby international Donncha O’Callaghan and comedian Emma Doran will discuss their new RTÉ series Donncha’s Away Games, while broadcaster Gráinne Seoige will speak about the impact of AI-generated sexual deepfake images of her.

For Dave Lofts, the appearance will mark his first performance on The Late Late Show.

The programme airs on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player from 9.35pm on Friday.
