
Motorists are being advised to expect disruption across Waterford over the coming days as a number of roadworks and maintenance projects get underway.
A section of John’s Street and the Apple Market in Waterford city will be closed to traffic from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8 while maintenance works are carried out.
Elsewhere, Waterford City and County Council wishes to advise traffic management will remain in place on the R710 Cumann na mBan Ring Road throughout July. Sections of the route will be reduced to a single lane, with a temporary speed limit of 60km/h. Drivers are being urged to approach the area with caution.
Road resurfacing works will also take place on the R671 at Glasha, Ballymacarbry, on Wednesday, July 8. A road closure and signed diversion via Fourmilewater will be in operation while the works are completed.
Meanwhile, Dunmore East Playground will be closed from Tuesday, July 7 until Friday, July 10 to allow upgrade works to be carried out.
