Man charged following firearm incident in Waterford City

A man in his 40s has been charged following an incident involving the production of a firearm in Waterford City.
Gardaí received a report of the incident in the Broad Street area at around 4.40 pm on Friday, September 11th.
No injuries have been reported.
A man in his 40s was arrested and has since been charged.
He appeared before Clonmel District Court on Saturday morning.
As the matter is now before the courts, Gardaí have said they have no further comment to make.
