Gardai have reiterated their appeal for information in relation to a recent assault in County Waterford.
A woman was assaulted while walking in the Minaun area near Cheekpoint on Saturday September 5th.
The incident happened between 12.30pm and 12.40pm.
The woman in her 40s was walking in the area, which is a woodland walk, when she was approached and assaulted by a middle aged male.
Speaking on this week’s Waterford Garda Watch, Sergeant Conor Cleary said Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who is approximately 5 ft 10 in height with a slim build, long dark hair and a long dark beard.
He is described as wearing a mid length dark green jacket. Investigations are ongoing.
