Gardaí are investigating the ‘unauthorised taking’ of a car from outside a property in Kilmeaden.

The incident happened at Kilmagemogue on Tuesday September 22nd between 1pm and 5.30pm.

The 171 Grey Mercedes Benz C Series was later recovered near Passage East at 6pm.

Anyone who was in the area or saw the vehicle at any stage on September 22nd, has any information or CCTV footage, dash camera footage etc. is asked to contact Tramore Gardaí on 051 391620 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft at Balllyphilip, Dunhill between the evening of Friday 25th September and Saturday 26th September.

A Mercedes was parked outside the owner’s house, and several items including cash were taken.
