Gardaí in Waterford are investigating a case a criminal damage by fire which occurred in Waterford City on Friday last.

The incident happened at 2.20am at Birchwood when a black Seat car was set on fire.

Gardaí would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have any information or CCTV footage or dash cam footage or doorbell camera footage of the incident.

There have been a large number of anti-social behaviour incidents across Waterford in recent days and weeks, as reported on WLR.

These have included incidents involving fireworks and bonfires in both Waterford City and Dungarvan.
